The Art of Living by Côté Bastide

By Sama Team | November 13, 2009

If you frequently read the Sama Gazette, then you know we appreciate l'Art de vivre à la Française (French Art of Living) and that we are seriously thinking about launching the Sama Epicurean Fraternal Society for real. Our friends at Cool Hunting (website and @coolhunting) have posted a very interesting article about French company Côté Bastide bath products they discovered while staying at the Hotel Pastis (funny name) in Saint Tropez (South of France).   The Côté Bastide collection includes an assortment of fragrances, candles, soaps and home furnishings, sold in their shop in Paris (4 rue de Poissy, 75005 Paris) and in the south of France at the Boutique Showroom in Lourmarin. Apparently, Côté Bastide collection is renowned for the quality of their products, and a friend of mine (a gorgeous blond model -yes, I know how to choose my friends) just told me she uses them for a long time. I will go visit the parisian shop next week!   Next week: a Sama Team Member taking a bubble bath, with pictures, because we are serious people at the Sama Gazette, we test everything we talk about (well, kind of...)

I usually don’t buy this kind of products but it’s cool to mention them, they’re French :)

A bastide is a fortified town. I don’t know why they chose this name, maybe because it sounds french ;)

I love French products, especially when they come from South of France, they’re natural and smell so good :)

I just realized it but seriously, it’s cool to work with Max. You write on the Sama Gazette, you play videogames, you get toys and bubble bath. I want to be a member of the Sama Team staff.

And I am very serious about it! :)

Hulks, you know Max as much as I do. I worked with her years ago and she was a great boss, the best I have ever had. She is very cool but she’s also a hard worker and so are the people working with her. But she has this great way to both work hard but also take the time to live. I wish I could work with her again.

If there is an opportunity, I would be so happy to be part of the Sama family… – Nostalgic – :o ops
