Honda presented the U3-X last month and here is what we know: the U3-X weighs 10kg (22 lbs), the dimensions are 315×160×650mm and the battery lasts for about an hour. But you won't go very fast with this eletric powered unicycle, speed only goes up to 6km/hour. U3-X uses the Honda Omni Traction Drive System and HOT Drive System (technology already used by Honda robot Asimo).
You can read the press release here (in Japanese, if you're familiar with the language). If you're not, the video below will explain it all.
We like the Honda U3-X (75% of the Sama Team voted for it), the design is futuristic but only (Japanese?) women seem to be able to 'ride' it. Now you have seen the 3 unicycles, what is your favorite one? eniCycle, YikeBike or Honda U3-X? We should start polls on the Gazette ;)

No eniCycle, no YikeBike and no Honda U3-X. No way!
I wonder why Segway didn’t make one like that already. They were the first to have the technology and they’re stucked with the two wheels models. Move on guys, it’s unicycling now!
This one is clearly designed for women and for an inside use (offices, big homes). I like the Honda one better, it’s smaller and well designed but neither my office nor my home are big enough to use it. ;(
I have an idea: we offer Hulksman a Honda model and he has to ride it everyday, and we take pictures of him. PtitJean will have his revenge then Jajaja
