Haiti: How they live, Survival after the quake

By Sama Team | April 15, 2010

Medecins sans froniteres / Doctors without borders has embedded a new slideshow we want to let you know about. It is narrated by an MSF communications officer, Michael Goldfarb, who also took the photographs during a two-week visit to Haiti in March, 2010. He accompanied MSF field staff on assessments of living conditions in makeshift camps where people had been living without basic assistance.

A few days ago MSF published an article about the current situation in Haiti: Haiti: Three Months After the Earthquake. A lot has still to be done and the organization is doing an amazing job in the field. Watch the slideshow below and you will have a better idea about the work dome by MSF field staff.

The previous slideshow about the Rohingya refugees was also very hard. But we need to see these images to know what is happening in the field.

I am too very respectful to those people who work hard everyday to help other people. There is an organization here near Milano who send money to Haitians to help them, and I sent money myself I hope they will have new home soon….

Haiti is a disaster but like for Rohingya refugees we should support Msf and any other organization working in conflict zones and on devastated countries.

Arnold and me we also sent money to help rebuild Haiti but it’s true we can’t send money everywhere

Yeah, MSF has been working in Haiti since 1991 so they perfectly know what they are talking about. Respect!
