Twitter Sunday: Fav. Tweets @PRINCE_OFFICIAL

  For this new Twitter Sunday rendezvous, we will share with you the tweets from a great singer. His name is Prince Rogers Nelson, a.k.a Prince. We were very happy to follow him when he started to tweet a few days ago but the pleasure didn't last very long... Instead of interesting tweets about his work or even his daily life, we got hundreds of tweets and retweets polluting our Twitter page,  messing with all the others tweets we were following...   The reason? Prince was so happy to tweet, he asked everyone to tweet and retweet: '#Prince is now on twitter spread the word!! @PRINCE_OFFICIAL rt'. You can read on his twitter page dozens and dozens of messages such as (originally in caps lock...):

Do my fans have anything to say? i will rt the first 10 fans with comments thank u

When i get 6000 followers i will follow 5 more fans thank u support!!! #prince is now on twitter spread the word!! @prince_official rt

  Now you understand why the tweet frenzy (he already sent near 400 tweets!) and the retweet craziness surrounding his arriving on Twitter... We were quite exasperated about it and we even thought about stop following him for a while. Among all these self-promotion tweets, we eventually found out some more interesting tweets, inspired and a little bit 'philosophical' about what music means to Prince, and we are sharing them with you.   Here they are, selected tweets posted during the last 24 hours:

I think Prince he’s a ladies singer. I don’t dislike him but I don’t like him either. I don’t know…….. His voice is soft, his music is vivacious but I don’t like the role he’s playing. But I can understand why women love him ;)
