Happy 90th Birthday to William Shatner!

William Shatner turns 90 today! The science fiction series started in 1966 (none of us were born then, not even our founder!) but we’ve all watched him (and more than once). The iconic Captain Kirk of the Starship Enterprise is more celebrated today than ever, as Shatner remains the eternal face of the Star Trek saga.

Shatner means a lot to us, as a performer and a human being. And because he’s so great (yes, we’re Trekkers and enthusiastic), he plans to celebrate his 90th birthday with a special event at the “Star Trek Set Tour” exhibit in Ticonderoga, New York, which was the filming location for the original Star Trek series.

The weekend birthday celebration is scheduled for July 23 – 24, 2021, and you can reserve your tickets now!

But if you thought Shatner couldn’t be even ‘greater’, here’s another news: he is creating an artificial intelligence-powered version of himself and he has teamed up with Conversational Video platform StoryFile to tell his story so that future generations will be able to talk with him. You read well, StoryFile writes ‘Generations now and in the future will be able to have a conversation with William Shatner – not an avatar, not a deep fake, but the REAL William Shatner.’

Shatner adds: ‘For all my children and all my children’s children and all my children’s loved ones and all the loved ones of the loved ones. That’s my gift to you down through time.

You can share your email on to be among the first to get notified when his exclusive StoryFile experience is available to interact with.

And of course, you can visit Shatner’s website and follow him on Twitter for more!

What can we add to that? We wish William Shatner a very happy birthday, thank you for being so active and ‘interactive’. May you live until 120! 🙂
